LaserPrep

Laser cleaning and surface preparation in South Wales, U.K. April - May 2024

If you are based in South Wales and have been wondering if the employment of laser technology could be the best solution for your cleaning and surface preparation activities, we might be able to help you reach a conclusion. On behalf of an overseas manufacturer we will be running a series of tests on a new 1000 watt, continuous wave, laser cleaning machine. We need to establish the capabilities of the machine on a wide range of materials and are offering free sample testing .

If you can send or bring a sample of the materials or objects you work with, we will run tests and let you know the results. We are well aware that machines like the one mentioned above are considered to be the most effective way to remove rust - so we will not be able to accept ferrous metal samples (unless you happen to have something small and of an historic or aesthetic interest...). We are interested to hear from people in the fields of restoration and conservation but will look at enquiries from all sectors.

This is a free, no strings offer. We are not in the business of data harvesting and we will respect your privacy. If you mail us with a brief note we will let you know if we can test your sample. We would, of course, like to hear your opinion of our results if you care to share it.
